Welcome to Bali Bound Travel Breaks! We are thrilled to assist you in planning your perfect travel experience. Before booking a travel package with us, please carefully read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions

1 BOOKINGS
BOOKING PROCEDURES
1.1 When making a booking with us, each traveller must accept these Booking Conditions and pay a downpayment of R 2500.00 to secure your booking. The downpayment is included in the deposit of 23% of the total tour cost per person. The balance of the deposit to be paid within 45 days. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your Tour. The remaining balance for the Tour must be paid at lease 50 days before your arrival date. For bookings made within 50 days of arrival, full payment is due immediately.
1.2 Cancellations of confirmed bookings or late or non-payment of the balance of the charges will incur Cancellation Charges as detailed below.
1.3 Your booking is confirmed, and a contract exists between you and Bali Bound Travel Breaks, only when we have received the deposit (or, for bookings made less than 50 days prior to arrival, when full payment is required at the time of booking) and we have sent you a confirmation receipt. No contract will exist between us until the confirmation receipt has been issued.
1.4 We reserve the right to adjust the cost of your Tour as published before you book. Any changes in cost will be communicated to you before you confirm your booking.
1.5 Please note that any changes in the rate of exchange may slightly affect the cost total for bookings that take place after 29.09.25 Forex Converter
2 INCLUSIVES & EXCLUSIVES
2.1 Our travel package includes all items that are specified in our travel pack for the particular Tour. Items not explicitly specified are not included in the cost of the Tour and are for your own cost.
2.2 If applicable to you and you choose the sharing option for a Tour, please note that only some hotels offer twin beds. Some hotels only have double, queen and king beds as sharing options.
3 CHANGES
3.1 Any changes to a confirmed Tour (for example, hotel; passenger names but NOT departure dates) must be requested in writing by the person who booked the Tour.
3.2 In making a change, any increase in Tour cost and/or applicable fees at time of rebooking will be passed to you, and you may also incur an administration fee of $ 40.00 USD (or equivalent) per change.
4 INSURANCE & PERSONAL LIABILITY
4.1 You MUST have adequate and suitable travel insurance to participate in a Tour organised by us. This is a condition of your contract with us, and you are wholly responsible for arranging your own insurance.
4.2 We reserve the right to request a copy of your insurance policy and/or a receipt showing payment of the premium. However, we will not check this policy for suitability, and it remains your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured.
4.3 You must ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting protection for the activities you will undertake during your Tour. Your insurance should also cover any independent arrangements, excursions, or other activities you may book during your holiday that do not form part of your booking or contract with us.
4.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured both prior to and during your holiday. We recommend securing insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed.
4.5 You are strongly advised to insure yourself against any possible risks, particularly ensuring sufficient coverage for dependent relatives and force majeure events. You are required to carry proof of insurance with you.
4.6 A suitable insurance policy should provide adequate cover for medical expenses arising from illness or accident before or during the holiday and loss of holiday monies through cancellation and curtailment of the holiday for insurable reasons. Ensure that your insurance fully covers all your personal requirements, including pre-existing medical conditions.
4.7 We reserve the right to cancel the booking, without any liability for refunds, of any customer who cannot demonstrate that they have purchased suitable travel insurance as per this clause.
4.8 If you choose to travel with inadequate insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses arising that would otherwise have been covered by insurance.
5 AMENDMENTS
CHANGES TO ITINERARY
5.1 In the event of any circumstances that are beyond our control, Bali Bound Travel Breaks reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary published on our travel pack and advise you accordingly. If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar rating.
5.2 If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible, provided there is sufficient time to do so before your arrival.
5.3 Should a significant change occur before your arrival, then provided that it does not arise through circumstances amounting to force majeure (see below), you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, booking another Tour with us, or cancelling your Tour and receiving a full refund.
5.4 If you choose another Tour with us that is more expensive you will be required to pay any difference, and if it is less expensive, we will refund you appropriately.
5.5 Refunds will not be paid if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your Tour due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control such as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, epidemics and pandemics, fire, adverse weather conditions (including snow and volcanic ash), technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other circumstances which amount to force majeure.
5.6 The tour is booked as per the published itinerary. There will be no reduction in cost should a guest decide not to attend a scheduled activity. Should a guest decide to leave a scheduled activity before or after the group then the cost of transport back to the accommodation, or any other location the guest elects to go, to will be for the guests account.
5.7 If your tour host falls ill or cannot make it on tour for unforseen circumstances, your tour will go ahead and a suitable host will take his/her place on the tour.
6 FORCE MAJEURE
6.1 Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions we are not obliged to provide a full refund (partial refunds may be given after deducting unrecoverable costs such as deposits, flight tickets, train tickets, park fees, wildlife permits, visa letters and other) or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by “Force Majeure”.
6.2 For the purposes of these Booking Conditions, Force Majeure means any event beyond our or our supplier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.
6.3 Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) control.
6.4 Check with your travel insurance provider as you may be able to reclaim these costs

7 CANCELLATIONS
CANCELLATION BY YOU
7.1 You may cancel your Tour at any time, subject to payment of the Cancellation Charges and provided that the cancellation is made by the person who made the booking and is communicated to us in writing.
7.2 Cancellation takes effect on the day we receive and acknowledge your written notification. If you fail to pay your deposit or balance by the due date, your Tour will be automatically cancelled.
7.3 As cancellation incurs administrative costs, we will retain your deposit and, in addition, will apply Cancellation Charges as follows:
7.3.1 49 - 40 days before departure: 50% of Tour cost
7.3.2 Less than 39 days before departure: 100% of Tour cost
7.3.3 or if differently specified on a particular Tour itinerary, then such cancellation charges apply.
7.4 Once your Tour has commenced or it is less than 39 days until your departure, no refund, part refund, or reimbursement for any unused portion of your Tour will be provided if you cancel, for any reason whatsoever.
7.5 If the reason for cancellation is covered under an insurance policy, it is your responsibility to claim these charges. We are not responsible for any of your own costs.
CANCELLATION BY US
7.6 We reserve the right to cancel your Tour, in which case we will offer you a refund in full of all monies paid or an alternative Tour.
7.7 We are not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of us cancelling your Tour, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment, or the cost of any connecting flights, accommodations, airport transportation, visas, document fees, vaccinations, or anything else you have purchased for your Tour.
8 DELAYS, MISSED ARRANGEMENTS
8.1 A delay or cancellation to your flight does not automatically entitle you to cancel any other arrangements even where those arrangements have been made in conjunction with your flight.
8.2 If you are not at our taxis at the departure times notified to you, you are welcome to meet us at the next location and find your way their using your own transport. We only wait 15 minutes for guests that do not arrive at our transport at the assigned time.
8.3 Should you become ill during the Tour and wish to delay your exit from one hotel location to the next hotel location, your hotel room at the next location would already be paid for and will sit empty waiting on your arrival. You will need to pay for your own hotel if you need to stay behind.
9 OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
9.1.1 We accept responsibility for ensuring that the Tour you book with us is provided as described in our travel pack/itinerary and that the services we are contractually obligated to provide meet a reasonable standard.
9.1.2 We will not be liable for any failures in performance by third parties not connected with the provision of your Tour as arranged by us.
9.1.3 You will be on a group tour. Photos will be taken and if you do not want to be part of the photos which everyone will share. Bring this to the groups attention and step out of photos being captured.
10 COMPLAINTS
10.1 Should you experience a problem during the course of your Tour, you are required to inform a member of our team immediately who, provided that it falls within the scope of your Tour, will endeavour to correct things.
10.2 If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing upon your return within 10 days.
10.3 If you do not follow this simple procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst on your Tour which may affect your right to demand rectification.
10.4 Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female in any group. While we are not responsible for the behavior of individual or group members or other guests, we want to emphasize that any inappropriate behavior from other guests will not be tolerated by us.
10.5 When travelling in a group, photos will be taken during the tour and guests will keep and share these photos with family, friends and on their social media pages. It is your responsibility to step out of photos if you do not want to have photos taken during the tour or with the group.
10.6 Bali Bound Travel Breaks will take photos and videos and share them on the WhatsApp group for each tour. This footage will be shared on social media. Please bring it to our attention if you do not want to be in any photos and step out of group shots.
11 PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
11.1.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas and any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you do not have the correct documents to travel. Passports cannot be damaged.
11.1.2 You will be solely responsible for any cost, loss, or damage which you incur as a result of a failure to obtain all necessary passports, visas and/or vaccinations.
11.1.3 We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel or incur any other loss because you have not complied with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities (including vaccinations).
11.1.4 You agree to reimburse us in relation to any fines or other losses which we incur as a result of your failure to comply with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities.
11.1.5 You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas and any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you do not have the correct documents to travel. Passports cannot be damaged.
11.1.6 You will be solely responsible for any cost, loss, or damage which you incur as a result of a failure to obtain all necessary passports, visas and/or vaccinations.
11.1.7 We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel or incur any other loss because you have not complied with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities (including vaccinations).
11.1.8 You agree to reimburse us in relation to any fines or other losses which we incur as a result of your failure to comply with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities.
12 THE CONTRACT
12.1 BINDING AGREEMENT
12.1.1 The contract is made on the terms of these Booking Conditions, and is a binding agreement, governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.
12.2 ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNAGE
12.2.1 Please confirm that you have read and accept the document in its entirety, by signing below, with either your digital (Full Name Surname) or handwritten signature.
